“The Queen” silver collection jewelry designs are taken from the crowns and jewelry details of the Armenian queens. Each jewelry piece comes with a leaflet describing the origin of the design and the history behind it.
Dafnezard captures the magic and mystery of the ancient jewelry worn by Armenian queens throughout history. Using fine materials such as gold and silver with stones made of ruby, malachite, and turquoise, each piece in the Dafnezard collection gives new life to the signs and symbols worn by royalty centuries ago. Artist and ethnographer Manan Dafin has studied the ancient artifacts that have inspired the Dafnezard collection as part of her professional work. Her research has also contributed to the development of the H1 television series Tagakirnery, which explores the history of Armenia by reimagining the Armenian woman.
