Lucie Poghosyan is the founder of ForMe, a collection of fine leather and suede accessories that includes handmade pins and bags that feature patterns inspired by embroidery found on Armenian costumes throughout the region's history. Poghosyan was born and raised in Spitak, Armenia. The daughter of a tailor, she grew up surrounded by fabrics, sewing materials, and fashion magazines and always found herself having conversations about women's fashion. After moving to Yerevan in 2001 to study fashion design, Poghosyan graduated and began working in the fashion industry right away. After years of experience in the fashion industry, including creative and technical work in Paris and Moscow, she later worked in retail and marketing in Yerevan, experiences that helped her, in 2011, launch ForMe Accessories. Beyond creating wearable art for ForMe, Poghosyan is also a lecturer in fashion design.
